No, while this is a better and tougher countertop material, Corian is not stain resistant. It is vulnerable to different products including harsh chemicals. Some products that will not harm Corian materials are mineral spirits, bleach, rubbing alcohol, and vinegar.

You can use those products to help whiten your Corian kitchen. One way to whiten the surface is to mix a 3 to 1 solution, bleach to water, and then spray on the stain or stains. Next, leave the solutions there for about 3 to 4 hours.

It is possible to leave it on the stains for up to 16 hours but not longer than that. When that time limit is up, use a damp cloth to clean up the stain. That is all there is to it.

Different stains will have different step-by-step procedures. Sometimes they will use the same ingredients and sometimes not. What follows is a list of different stains and how to remove them from your Corian countertop surface.

Mix hydrogen peroxide and baking soda into a nice paste. Spread the paste over the stain and wait for 24 hours. Then gently scrub the area removing both the paste and the stain at the same time.

Water Stains

In this stain removing situation, just mix some water with some vinegar. Put equal parts of both in a spray container and mix well. Then spray the solution directly onto the stains.

Next, let the mixture seep into the stain for a few minutes before wiping the stain up with a clean cloth. If you have a hard water stain, you can try lime juice instead of vinegar or a lime remover product.

Bleach Stains

In this case, you can use a cleanser that contains oxalic acid. Just rub it on the stain and it should come right off.

Rinse the area clean and dry with another clean cloth. or you can use an ammonia-based cleanser and mix it with water. 1/4 cup of ammonia and 1 gallon of water should do the trick.

Use a cloth or soft-bristled brush to do the scrubbing. Rinse after the stain has been removed and dry with another cloth.
